Distortion analysis of power amplifiers for mobile applications

(in English) In these days, the development for 5th generation mobile phone becomes highly activated. In 5G mobile phone system, maximum modulation bandwidth is enlarged to 100~400 MHz. In addition, complicated systems such as DC (Dual Connectivity) and MIMO (Multiple-Input and Multiple-Output) will be applied. With this wide bandwidth and complicated parallel operating systems, the ET (Envelope Tracking) systems and the DPD (Digital Pre-Distortion) systems may not be always the optimum solutions. The PA for a 5G system should achieve good linearity with standalone operation. Therefore, it may be a good timing to re-study features of linear PAs.
