Proposal of latency improving method in VDI system using VDI Proxy

(in English) Recently, information leak due to loosing PC is becoming a social problem. VDI system can be one of solutions, where user brings thin client and accesses virtual desktop in a cloud system through networks. As such VDI systems are delay sensitive, user’s operability can easily be affected by user’s network conditions such as wireless access network or long delay network. This paper proposed a method that improves latency in VDI system by dynamically deploying VDI proxy between VDI client and VDI server depending on network condition and quality. Moreover, we evaluated the proposed method using an experiment system, which includes emulated wireless access network and core network connecting cloud systems. As a result, we find out the proposed method can be usable.
