| (in English) | This paper presents a framework to create a 3D object whose silhouette can be recognized as different QR codes when viewing from three orthogonal directions. We describe a shape of the object by a binary volumetric model where projection of each voxel corresponds to a module, i.e. the smallest element of the QR code. To reduce inconsistency of the projected pattern, the optimum combination of rotation angles in assignment of the given QR codes to the respective directions is exhaustively searched. Furthermore, geometric transformation based on perspective projection was applied to the model to avoid voxels hiding the background area. The resulting object is physically fabricated by a 3D printer and its decodability is tested by using a smartphone equipped with QR code reader software. | |
