Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, wireless mesh networks composed of IEEE802.11 standards wireless LANs has been attracting interest. Services using wireless mesh networks as network infrastructures, such as Wi-Fi edge servers for a platform to operate LDM (Local Dynamic Map) and self-employed networks for smart factories, will grow significantly in the future. In this paper, in order to construct an optimal network environment, we propose a channel assignment scheme for wireless multi-channel mesh networks which adopt CSMA/CA as a media access control. Our proposed scheme is based on existing scheme and uses Hidden Terminal Graph (HTG), Exposed Terminal Graph (ETG), and Carrier Sense Graph (CSG), which aims to consider flow directions. Simulation results show that minimum throughput, maximum throughput, and total throughput achieved higher value compared to existing scheme.
