Offload Control Method for Meta Data Management considering Short Lifetime and Locality of IoT Data

(in English) Recently, there is an increasing expectation for the use of data with a short lifetime (called live data) that is continuously generated by an IoT device. Along with the further spread of IoT in the future, it is necessary to consider appropriate metadata management method considering the registration / deletion cost and the search cost for enormous live data in the metadata management server. In this research, we propose a new Information-Centric Networking architecture suitable for handling live data. Considering that high locality is expected for the use of live data, the proposed architecture has two functions of Live Data Local Autonomic Management Method handling some data locally, and MAC Address Embedded Live Data ID Method realizing in-network direct access for the communication with locality. In Live Data Local Autonomic Management Method, when the trade-off was optimized, we found that registration / deletion cost can be reduced by 85.5% while keeping ID search energy below the conventional level. In MAC Address Embedded Live Data ID Method, we clarified that Location search energy can be reduced by 22.5% at the maximum.
