Neighbor discovery is an initial process to construct an ad-hoc network. The previous research has shown an algorithm that discovers neighbor nodes by transmitting and receiving DISCOVERY messages. It can discover all neighbors under high certainty in a one-hop network and a multi-hop network. Furthermore, it can discover neighbors quicker while maintaining certainty with feedback in the one-hop network. However, in the multi-hop network, the quickness has not been improved because the feedback method cannot be used. Thus we propose a feedback method which can be used in the multi-hop network and aim to decrease the discovery time. |
