[Invited Lecture] Relationship between In-Band Full Duplex and Structure of Self-Interference Cancellation

(in English) In-band full duplex, which is a new communication system attracting attention for 5G and beyond, can transmit and receive information simultaneously at same frequency band. However, self-interference cancellation is essential for realizing in-band full duplex. We reported some results on an adaptive digital filter in RCS of October 2017. In this report, we review some research trends on analog filters regarding self-interference cancellation. Furthermore, we classify the analog filters into two categories from the spatial channel between two in-band full-duplex terminals. In each category, we clarify the relationship between in-band full-duplex communication and structure of analog self-interference canceller.
