[Invited Talk] 60 GHz Band High Rate Close Proximity Radio System conforming to the IEEE 802.15.3e standard and extended its application

(in English) The outline of "60 GHz band High Rate Close Proximity Radio System" which completed international standardization as IEEE 802.15.3e and reached the contribution as an ITU report, and the development status of the LSI which was conformed to those standard will be explained on this talk.
Also, we would make discuss to the extended application image of such “60 GHz band high speed proximity wireless system”, especially a GATE system that improves the degree of freedom of connection by utilizing near-field area formation of a large aperture antenna. Those system will be expected to cooperate with a 5G infrastructure network.
