Currently, the 28 GHz band is attracting attention as a next generation communication standard, but attenuation by distance is large when used for communication, so it is unsuitable for long distance communication. In addition, it is said to be highly straightforward and susceptible to obstacles like pillars and people. Therefore, in this study, the reflection characteristic and the transmission characteristic of radio wave of 28 GHz are measured by experiment. Furthermore, as an application example using the values obtained in the experiment, we will consider cases of device-to-device communication in urban areas and data communication using a robot on the station's home. |
