In recent years, behavior of visitors to Japan has been changing from “spending money to buy things” to “spending money on things to get experiences”. Therefore, visitors are in not only tourism industry but also in every industry and we do not offer enough language support for foreign visitors is at issue. Hair salons are one of the things that foreign visitors are interested in experiencing in Japan. Due to trying to meet the needs and to accept foreign customers, hair salons have anxiety about communicating with foreign customers. To resolve this problem, I decided to develop a multilingual communication support system for overseas visitors and staffs at hair salons in Japan. |
