Synthesis and One Dimensional Structures of TTF Derivatives with Crown Ether

(in English) Organic conductors based on Tetrathiafulvalene(TTF) showed the high conductivity at room temperature, after mixing several acceptors. The application of CT complexes have been studied to form the one dimensional nanostructure, for example the nanowires and nanocoils. One the other hand, crown ether have ring structures and form the one dimensional column as ion channel structures.
In this study, we report the structures and electric properties of molecular nanowires composed of TTF derivatives. We synthesized TTF derivatives(TTF-ER) having chiral and hydrogen-bonding side chains. The UV spectra of TTF derivatives and their TCNQ, F2TCNQ, F4TCNQ complexes were measured by the diffuse reflection method. CT complexes of TTF-ER and F2TCNQ, F4TCNQ showed the absorption band in 700 - 900 nm, which is assigned to the F4TCNQ anion radicals. The IR spectra of TTF derivatives and CT complexes of TTF-ER and F2TCNQ, F4TCNQ were measured by the ATR method. The CT complexes showed a broad absorption band from 2500 to 3000 cm-1, which mean the charge transfer between electron-donating TTF derivatives and electron-accepting F2TCNQ, F4TCNQ. The nanowires were fabricated on mica substrates by cast techniques. The surface morphology was examined by AFM and SEM.
