The mixture of full-duplex (FD) and half-duplex (HD) wireless networks and its solutions have been studied to improve the medium access control (MAC) performance. Especially, the header snooping is one of the most effective solutions to achieve the high throughput. Besides, one of the solutions that can significantly enhance the throughput is network coding. The effectiveness of network coding has been extensively studied in many research. Accordingly, the paper aims to propose a new MAC scheme for the mixture of HD and FD wireless network using network coding. This paper investigates the node combination from a network topology and evaluates the performance of the proposed MAC scheme in terms of saturation throughput and the effectiveness of network topology. |
