(in English) A 2x2 7-core optical switching node is experimentally demonstrated with a record switching capacity of 53.3 Tb/s. This switching node is the basis of a novel time-slotted, 7-core SDM MCF optical network for future data center applications, where core-joint electro-absorption gate array switches with ns-fast switching speed enable full- granularity packet switching of spatial super-channels. Network protection against fiber cuts is facilitated by core-joint microsecond-fast acousto-optical modulator switches and core-joint ms-fast mirror-based switches.
