Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) For network or service provider, it is important to monitor the QoE-level state of services and detect QoE degradation or sign of such degradation for providing comfortable mobile network service to users. To that end, the mechanism that network or service provider can understand visually QoE-level state is necessary. In this paper, we propose a concept of QoE geographic visualizing model that visualizes QoE for services provided area. In this model, we estimate QoE for each area based on index values related to that enable to be collected from mobile terminals. Display of these QoE on a map implements QoE geographic visualization. To construct this model, there are two issues that must be resolved. The first issue is difficult to collect these index values for all areas and all duration. If there is not enough number of collected values in some area and duration, it may lead to overlook quality degradation. Therefore, we apply a data interpolation model using index values in neighborhood area. This interpolation takes geometrical characteristics of network parameters into consideration. The second issue is that mobile terminal cannot measure QoE directly. Therefore, we derive a mapping function based on the relationships between QoE and some index values (LTE network parameters and network performance.)
