An Analysis of Prosumers' Benefit on Peer-to-Peer Energy Trading
Mitsue Imahori, Ryo Hase, Norihiko Shinomiya (Soka Univ.) MSS2017-65 SS2017-52
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In recent years, many countries have promoted to install photovoltaics to consumers for carbon dioxide reduction. Consumers who own household photovoltaic systems are called prosumers, because they can not only consume electricity but also produce electricity. Especially, an electricity trading among prosumers is regarded as Peer-to-Peer (P2P) energy trading which has been proposed for efficient use of electricity. However, the optimal P2P trading solutions under the constraints specific for electricity markets have received little attention yet. Thus, in order to intensify P2P energy trading, prosumers’ benefit should be investigated so that prosumers’ benefit can be improved. The paper presents an electricity market model using a time-varying graph and two optimization problems.
