Relative Visualization Framework for Recipe Retrieval by Using Texture Expressions over User Reviews
Kento Shigyo, Hidenari Kiyomitsu, Kazuhiro Ohtsuki (Kobe Univ.) DE2017-38
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) This research aims to provide a visualize method that allows users to intuitively imagine the results of cooking with referring to recipes. In recent recipe retrievals, their users can find some recipes what they want to cook by specifying its ingredients, nutrition facts and using keywords in the description. In this paper, we focus on user’s intentions about “What would it be like when I cook with this recipe?” Fortunately, a review (cooking report) of a recipe shows what happened when another user made the recipe. To evaluate a recipe, we discuss about an aggregation engine that extracts and aggregates texture expressions from large number of reviews of the recipe.
