Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) Chat-oriented dialogue systems often use large databases of utterances harvested from the web. However, because the sentences are made from single predicate argument structures (one predicate with several arguments), the system utterances tend to be monotonous.
In addition, unnatural sentences are often generated as utterances.
In this paper, we propose a method to reduce unnatural utterances (non-sentences), and enhance system utterances by concatenating pairs of utterances to reduce monotony of utterances.
