[Invited Talk] Hardware Trojan detection based on side-channel analysis

(in English) A hardware Trojan, a malicious addition and/or modification to ICs, caused by outsourcing of design
and/or manufacturing process or usage of IP design is becoming a threat of malfunctioning or leakage of sensitive
data. Trojan detection methods based on side-channel analysis are promising since they might capture the inclu-
sion of Trojan if a part of Trojan is activated and shows some side-channel signals. The main challenges of the
side-channel based Trojan detection approaches are detection sensitivity under process variation and Golden IC free
detection. This paper introduces process variation aware Golden IC free Trojan detection methods.
