We have been studying a portable real-world caption system using transparent Head-Mounted Display to ensure information accessibility for person with hearing impairment. Since the proposed system creates subtitles by speech recognition, it is necessary to obtain the voice of the speaker. However, environmental noise is present in everyday spaces such as vehicles, construction work, conversation by third parties, and noise is superimposed on the speech signal of the speaker, so the accuracy of speech recognition deteriorates. In this paper, to solve the problem, we confirmed by simulation that the arc type single channel microphone array that can be attached to the mobile terminal is suitable for speech enhancement in the target sound direction. |
