Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) It is assumed that acceptability and impression of driving support of an agent will differ depending on characteristics such as character and so on of driver who is a receiver. In this study, we will clarify what kind of personality traits the driver evaluates highly for agents. In the experiments, subjective evaluation on receptivity such as 'familiarity' or 'obstruction' to the agent when agents of three types of voice, virtual and robot performed the same driving support. Regarding personality traits, questionnaires on safety suitability tests used in driving schools and the like were used. Experimental results showed that emotional stability, which is the evaluation axis of safe and proper test, influences the evaluation of receptivity. If the emotional stability affects the acceptability of the agent, if the emotion is not stable, there is a possibility that the driver could be driving with confidence by alerting the agent and suggesting revision of driving behavior. From this, it can be said that the evaluation axis of personality characteristics of emotional stability is an effective point for selecting a driver to use the driving support agent.
