There is increasing interest in mindfulness as a practice to improve mental well-being against stress and depression. In recent years, it has been suggested that mindfulness training induces positive effects not only on individual mental health but also on social cognitive aspects related to communication. We investigated changes in psychological subjective evaluation to a creative group communication before and after the subjects underwent a short-term mindfulness training. Results of the preliminary experiment suggest that mindfulness intervention enhances communication-related mental states.
