Welding of Coated Copper Wire and Aluminum Plate by Using Ultrasonic Vibration -- Peeling Condition of the Coating --

(in English) In recent years, there has been a demand for joining coated copper wires and solder electrodes in various electronic components. At present, heat is utilized for the welding. However there is a problem that the withstanding pressure of the covered wire decreases at the time of heating, and it takes a long time to overheat and cool at the time of welding. In this research, we aim to solve these problems, to remove the covering of the coated copper wire and to weld it in a short time. In this paper, we devised a vibrator for ultrasonic welding when using a sound source of 40 kHz, changed the tip shape of the welding tip to give vibration to the experimental sample, and measured the electrical characteristics, the welding at longitudinal vibration resonance, and the peeling condition of the coated copper wire were investigated.
