Modeling of Langevin transducer with transfer matrix of piezoelectric 33-mode introducing nonlinear elastic coefficients

(in English) Bolt-clamped Langevin transducers are widely used for high-power applications such as washing machines and wire bonding machines.
High-power drive is possible by applying compressive preload because piezoelectric material degrades its performance due to tensile stress.
However, the optimum preload design has not been established.
Paying attention to the fact that the vibration velocity is saturated due to the nonlinear effect of the piezoelectric material, design guidelines can be considered by elucidating the relationship between preload and nonlinear coefficient.
In this study, introduced the nonlinear elastic coefficient in the transfer matrix method, the nonlinearity of admittance and vibration velocity of the Langevin transducer were analyzed.
