While expanding use of millimeter wave is progressing, experimental data for establishing safety guide- line considering the action on living organisms due to millimeter wave exposure is required. Therefore, 95 GHz and 40 GHz millimeter wave perception experiments were conducted in 2015-2017 Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications’ Bioelectromagnetic Environmental Studies"Thermal perception threshold in millimeter wave ex- posure". The effect on the living body by millimeter waves is dominated by thermal effect, and it is important to clarify the temperature rise during millimeter wave exposure in assessing exposure. Therefore, from the data obtained in this experiment, we analyzed the skin surface temperature rise due to millimeter-wave focused beam exposure. |
