Game Model of Selfish Consumers in Power Consumption Reduction Problem under Aggregator's Incentive Allocation
Yuta Hasegawa, Takafumi Kanazawa (Osaka Univ.) CAS2017-58 MSS2017-42
Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page)
(in English) In power supply, the demand response is attracting attention to perform electric power load leveling. Consumers are offered incentives that depend on power consumption reductions at the peak time. Since power suppliers have several difficulties in direct negotiations with many consumers, ``aggregators'' have been introduced to mediate between them. In this paper, we formulate a power consumption reduction problem where an aggregator allocates a part of its profit as incentives to consumers. The allocated incentives depend on the reduction amounts of the consumers, and the consumers determine the reduction amounts to maximize their own profits with the incentives. We also regard the interactions of the consumers as a game, and investigate relationship between the incentives and the profit of the aggregator.
