A Design Method of Electrically Coupled Series Resonant WPT System

(in English) We propose a power feeding system for a vehicle that utilizes advantage of electric field coupling where the positional freedom of the receiving electrode with respect to the power transmitting electrode is high. The quadruple plates used for the transmitting and receiving electrodes of this system are asymmetrically placed and coupled to each other, so theoretically it can be represented by six capacitiances. However, in reality, not only the six capacitiances but also story capacitiances , which is the coupling capacity with the earth, are generated, and hence it makes a very complex capacitive coupling, which difficult to grasp the capacity easily. Therefore, we introduce the measurement method of this complicated capacity, compare the measurement result with the theory, and show the design method.
