Direct Parallel Coupling SHF Dual-Band Reconfigurable Bandpass Filter

(in English) Recently, the demand for high-speed and high-capacity wireless communication is rapidly increasing. CA (Carrier Aggregation) has been introduced in 4G-LTE for achieving wider bandwidth communication. Furthermore, new higher frequency bands including high-SHF and millimeter-wave are planned to operate in 5G. We have proposed “reconfigurable BPF” as a promising RF device that can utilize various frequency bands with flexibility. A UHF and low-SHF 3-bit reconfigurable BPFs have been developed that can choose eight center frequencies. In this paper, we propose a direct parallel coupling dual-band reconfigurable BPF for the concurrent multiband access with low and high SHF bands. By merging the duplex function into the input/output coupling elements, a simple and flexible circuit configuration without divider/combiner has been enabled.
