Superposed multicarrier transmission has been proposed as a technique to improve frequency utilization efficiency.
In this scheme, it is possible to narrow the total required bandwidth by sharing a part of the frequency band of each communication signal.
However, since it is affected by interference from the communication signal sharing the same frequency bands, its performance deteriorates.
To reduce the influence of interference, an error correction code is effective, but it is necessary to get information about interference signal (power, position).
We propose the scheme using the joint maximum a posteriori estimation of channel and interference power.
Although the scheme achieves excellent estimation accuracy, channel covariance is necessary for estimation.
Conventionally, we assumed that channel covariance is the known information.
In this paper, we evaluate the influence of the channel covariance estimation error with using the scheme which is the joint maximum a posteriori estimation of channel and interference signal power.
In the estimation of the channel covariance, we derive from using the theoretical formula based on the estimated value of the channel.
When we derive three estimation values (channel, interference signal power, channel covariance), the equation to estimate them is an implicit function.
So we estimate iteratively and improve accuracy.
Through computer simulation, we compare the effect on channel and interference signal power estimation accuracy with known case. |
