Generating Top-k List by Using Delay Tolerant Networks and Crowdsourcing

(in English) In this paper, we propose an algorithm that obtains a top-k list of items out of a large itemset in delay tolerant networks (DTNs). One of the examples is to compute the top-k important tasks in disaster recovery. Due to the nature of the limited contact opportunities in DTNs, how to assign tasks to users plays a critical role for efficiently computing a crowdsourced top-k list. First, we design an algorithm by incorporating the past contact frequency between the requester and each user, which is collected from the past contact history. Then, we present the progress toward the performance evaluation by simulation using one of the public real mobility traces, called CRAWDAD dataset.
