The 5th generation mobile radio communication system (5G) is expected to widely spread in the near future. In 5G, ultra-high speed wireless communication which exceeds 10 Gbps will be realized. In the backhaul system, such kind of ultra-high speed communication will also be required. In rural areas or areas without optical fiber networks, wireless backhaul systems are effective. In this paper, we introduce the techniques which Toshiba researches for the enhancement of 5G wireless backhaul system. They are a self-interference mitigation technique, a Line-Of-Sight MIMO technique and a relay system technique. |
