[Poster Presentation] Design and Implementation of Optimization Method for Wireless LAN based on Cognitive Cycle

(in English) With the spread of mobile terminals such as smartphones, mobile tablets and laptop PCs, wireless LAN access points are placed everywhere and the opportunities to use wireless communication technology have been increasing regardless of the place. Many wireless LAN access points and mobile terminals decrease communication qualities due to competing to use radio resources, interference between nearby access points and so on. In this report, we design an optimization method using learning algorithm and optimization algorithm based on a control model called cognitive cycle. We also implement the designed optimization method in wireless LANs and evaluate the throughput performance. The experimental results show the effectiveness of the proposed approach in a real environment.
