Analysis of Relationship between the Viewing Angle (Image Size) and the Lines-of-sight

(in English) The spread of 4K television has become full-fledged, and the practical application of 8K is also proceeding. These televisions have a small pixel structure, therefore, their roughness is not bothersome even if they are observed from a closer distance. The standard observation distance is 1.5 H at 4 K, 0.75 H at 8 K, and the viewer can enjoy images with a wide field of view from close range. However, in a study of investigation about TV viewing conditions at home, it is reported that the viewing position occupies about 37% on the right side of the television and about 60% on the left side and the viewing distance distributes 5H~8H regarding NTSC television. In this experiment, we analyzed whether the movement of the line of sight is different when the presentation angles of view and the viewing locations are changed with the same viewing distance as reflecting the viewing situation at each house. In experimental results, we suggested that the gaze position was different by changing the field angle of view.
