Outdoor Experiment Evaluation of Analog-Digital Hybrid Massive MIMO

(in English) Massive MIMO transmission whose number of antennas is much larger than the number of user terminals, has been attracted much attention as one of key technologies in next-generation mobile communication system, because it enables improvement in service area and interference mitigation by simple signal processing.
The authors have clarified to what extent the theoretically obtained Massive MIMO performance is effective in real environments.
In this report, the performance of the analog-digital hybrid massive MIMO is shown to obtain sufficient interference cancellation characteristics while reducing the calculation amount.
By increasing or decreasing the number of interference terminals in uplink for a base station with 100element array, the relationship between the number of sub0arrays in which hybrid beam forming effectively operates and the interference number is clarified.
