Dizziness has different symptoms depending on the site of disease occurrence, and abnormality occurs in optokinetic nystagmus when disease occurs in cerebellum and brainstem. There is an examination using a rotating drum called optokinetic nystagmus examination, but it requires very large scale apparatus. In this research, we developed a space-saving dizziness test system using Head Mounted Display (HMD) "FOVE" which can measure eye movements and reproduce a rotating drum in a VR environment. In this paper, we verify the accuracy of FOVE 's eye tracking function and report on optokinetic nystagmus in a VR environment with HMD wearing for healthy participants. |
