Time series analysis of failure rates of equipments for telecommunication networks. -- State space model using Kalman filter --

(in English) The author has been predicted the failure rate of telecommunication network equipments by the state space model with Bayesian inference. The Markov Chain Monte Carlo (MCMC) method has been used as a estimation
algorithm of Bayesian inference. However, the MCMC method is complicated to handle and it is difficult to apply it to routine tasks of the operating and maintenance business of telecommunication networks. In this article, the author predict the state space model of failure rate by Bayesian inference with Kalman filter. Moreover, the example of analysis using actual outage data is also shown.
