[Poster Presentation] Performance of a Stereophonic Acoustic Echo Canceller Based on the Adaptive PSO Algorithm for Environmental Change

(in English) In stereophonic acoustic echo canceller (SAEC), a unique probrem called mis-adjustment of coefficent occurs due to the influence of strong correlation between the input channels. Cross correlation variation by preprocessing to the input signal is effective but they have secondary problems such as sound quality degradation. To this probrem, a method using particle swam optimization (PSO) of the optimization technique attracting attention in recent years has been proposed. However, although it is effective, sufficient performance for practical use has not been obtained. In this regard, we proposed a new method introducing εPSO that adapts to changes in the environment, it is confirmed that the performance improves by 4 to 5 dB compared to the conventional method. In this report, we show the coefficient convergence performance of this method for environmental change.
