79GHz band UWB MIMO radar with waffle-iron ridge waveguide array antenna

Abstract (in Japanese) (See Japanese page) 
(in English) A 79GHz band UWB MIMO radar with waffle-iron ridge waveguide array antenna has been developed. The developed radar has high space resolution and detection capacity by 3.5GHz UWB transmission, Fast Chirp Modulation, simultaneous transmitting MIMO array and MUSIC (MUltiple SIgnal Classification) algorithm. The radar may help to realize applications requiring short range, high resolution and precise position estimation such as ADAS (advanced driver assistance system).
