[Poster Presentation] Evaluation of Secondary common-mode current Using Modal Equivalent Circuit in Four-conductor Transmission-line System

(in English) This paper focuses on secondary common-mode current in four-conductor transmission-line system and its evaluation was carried out by measurement and circuit simulation with modal equivalent circuit. In the evaluation, an STP cable system was used and terminated with a pigtail at different positions to vary the imbalance factors of the transmission-line cables. As a result, it is found that the magnitude of secondary common-mode current depends on the pigtail position. According to the modal-equivalent-circuit analysis, it is suggested that the pigtail position influences mode conversion between primary and secondary common modes.
