Future technologies can achieve remote operations for communication devices which are located in geographically separated areas. In this situation, latency is one of problems to execute remote operations, because communication delay is a factor of subtle feeling gaps. Edge computing is an important technology to achieve low latency communications to locate computing resources nearby access networks, and execute various processing for communication devices. This paper reports validations of network technologies and evaluations of use-case demonstrations on edge computing. |
