[Short Paper] A Study of Attention Function Evaluation for Cooking based on Wearable Sensor

(in English) An attention function has five basic functions: 1) sustained attention; 2) selective attention; 3) alternating attention; 4) divided attention; 5) attention of capacity. Conventional methods such as D-CAT and TMT are used for evaluating basic attention functions. However, these methods based on a static test format can not evaluate attention functions from activities of daily living(ADLs) dynamically in real time. This paper focuses on cooking behaviors which have a various and parallel kinds of ADLs and proposes an evaluation method for attention functions to ADLs. The proposed method integrates an evaluation based on a visual attention model using egocentric vision camera with one based on a state transition model using environmental cameras. This paper studies whether it is possible to evaluate sustained /selective /divided attentions of ADLs in real time.
