The objective of this study is to predict which finger is moving or being imaged using electroencephalogram.
We used ERSP as indicator of brain activity which represents frequency power fluctuation from baseline interval.
The frequency bands $alpha$,$beta$ and $gamma$ (8-15 , 16-31, 32-128 Hz, respectively) of the ERSP were used for analysis. Additionally, a feature consisting on a merge of those three bands was also explored using PCA in such feature for dimension reduction.
Those four kind of features were classified by LDA using 10-fold cross validation.
The result showed that the combined feature of three frequency bands could classify most multiple of combination of finger in both motor execution and motor imagery. |
