Recent research has shown that signature schemes created using Fiat-Shamir transformation might be insecure against quantum adversaries although they have been proven secure in classical setting against classical adversaries. Specifically, since a quantum adversary can performed computation in superposition of the quantum states, it has to be allowed to send queries to random oracle in superposition of quantum states. And since all copies of the same superposition of quantum states will collapse after observation, in order to simulate the behavior of a true random oracle, the reduction algorithm has to answer the queries without observing the content of the queries. This makes the classical reduction algorithm fail to properly perform rewinding and programming of random oracle against quantum adversaries. In this paper, we propose a method to construct reduction algorithm which avoids rewinding and minimizes the programming of random oracle. We show the feasibility of our method by applying it on signature scheme from Fiat-Shamir transformation of an identification scheme based on Isomorphism of Polynomials with Two Secrets. |
