A Study of Streaming Quality Improvement with A Delivery Path Control Method for Mobile Devices using Device-to-Device Communication

(in English) We are studying a video delivery method for mobile devices using device-to-device communication in order to provide streaming service with high stability and high quality. In the proposed method, it is able to be off-loaded mobile communication traffic by forwarding streaming data from the master terminal to the other terminals. However, the streaming quality falls down when the master terminal`s mobile communication speed is low. Thus, we have proposed a new video delivery method for improving streaming quality to measure each terminal`s mobile communication speed and elect a fast terminal as a master terminal accordingly. we confirmed the proposed method could be advanced the streaming quality with a prototype delivery system.
