A Study on Routing, Modulation-format, and Spectrum Assignment in Elastic Lambda Aggregation Network

(in English) A research project on Elastic Lambda Aggregation Network (E$lanmbda$AN) is proceeding, in which multiple services can be efficiently accommodated by creating elastic optical paths with optical OFDM signals. In the network, parameters of optical OFDM signals are determined according to the link quality of the Optical Distribution Network (ODN) which is constructed with elastic optical switches or necessary bandwidth of services. In this paper, we demonstrate to reduce the blocking probability by using Routing, Modulation-format, and Spectrum Assignment(RMSA) algorithm with experimentally evaluated link quality tables.
