At the NICT booth at the International Conference SC16, this project experimented uncompressed transmission of 8K / 4K ultra high definition video using a 200 Gbps wideband line between Japan and the US and a cryptographic transmission environment. As the contents of uncompressed 8K ultra high definition video, we streamed motion capture data of multi-Linked site mocap system and created 8K CG video which was real-time rendered by PC in Japan. created 8K CG video send back uncompressed to the United States. We used the inertial MOCAP in the US and optical MOCAP in Japan. This paper describes the configuration of MOCAP streaming system and uncompressed transmission system of 8K real time CG video. Through this experiment, this research has constructed a pre-visualization production environment using 8K real-time CG. |
