Distance Distinction Using Variance of Phase Difference for Source Signals in Same Direction

(in English) Technique for sound sources separation from observed signals is required for auto transcription of a meeting or robot ears. When we have the distance from the microphone to the sound source, we can remove the separated sound sources existing behind the desired sound source. In this paper, we use the variance of the phase difference of the separated signal to estimate the distance. Experimental results show that the variance is useful to the distance estimation.
