PAPR Characteristics of Spectrum Suppressed Transmission for Single Carrier Modulation

(in English) Spectrum suppression transmission to increase frequency utilization efficiency by suppressing required bandwidth has been proposed. One the other hand, single carrier transmission can make hardware size smaller because it can use smaller amplifier according to smaller PAPR than those of multi carrier transmissions. However single carrier spectrum suppression transmission has been evaluated only in terms of frequency utilization efficiency. Therefore, in this paper, in order to perform resource control for single carrier spectrum suppression transmission with two parameters of frequency utilization efficiency and PAPR, we evaluate relationship between suppression ratio, defined as suppressed bandwidth per Nyquist bandwidth, and PAPR using low pass, high pass and band pass filters. As the result, there are ranges smaller PAPR than that by no bandwidth suppression.
