In recent years, there has been a demand for joining coated copper wires and solder electrodes in various electronic components. At present, heat is utilized for the joining, however, there is a problem that the withstanding pressure of the covered wire decreases at the time of heating, and it takes a long time to overheat and cool at the time of joining. In order to solve this problem, it has been studied to remove the coating and join using ultrasonic waves, but there was a problem that removal of the coating was not perfect and remained in the solder. In this research, we aim to solve these problems and to eliminate and join the coated copper wire in a short time. However, there is a problem such that the driving is not stable with the vibration source in which a disk-shaped joining tip is connected to the tip of the ultrasonic vibrator that has been used up to now. In this paper, we newly devised a vibrating body for sonic welding and examined joining at longitudinal vibration resonance. |
