In this report, the rendering technology in acoustics is reviewed by comparing the audio rendering with the image rendering. An arbitrary view and listening point rendering in which sound field rendering is implemented
to the HMD rendering system is then described. The accuracy of the head related transfer function calculated by a dummy head model which is digitized by 3D scanner is examined. The sound localization based on the calculated HRTF is also examined. The possibility of the free view and listening point rendering is examined. |
