[Poster Presentation] Quantitative Measurement of Pulsed Ultrasonic Pressure Field using Optical Phase Contrast Method and Acoustic Holography

(in English) Establishment of fast and accurate measurement of ultrasonic pressure field is necessary to assure safety of ultrasonic application in diagnosis and therapeutics. Hydrophone scanning which is the most common measurement method requires long measurement time and may disturb the acoustic field. In this study, an acoustic holography method using nonlinear propagate simulation is combined with an optical phase contrast method. Axisymmetric pulsed pressure field was measured by optical method before the focusing and focal pressure field was simulated using acoustic holography. The result of this method agreed well with that of the measurement using hydrophone scanning.
